The examination takes place exclusively in oral form and consists of two parts: 1. a question on the history of the Hebrew language and 2. the translation and grammatical analysis of sentences analysed and explained during classes. The learners' progress will be constantly monitored during the course. Afterwards, at the end of the course, an oral examination will test the learning outcomes from the linguistic point of view, by means of a translation of the biblical text and commentary with grammatical observations and by means of questions meant to highlight the linguistic features of 1 Chronicles in a diachronic perspective.
Grades are on a scale of 30.
The exam can be taken in English.
