Obiettivi formativi
L'insegnamento di LINGUA GIAPPONESE (annualità unica) ricade tra gli insegnamenti caratterizzanti del primo anno (e secondo) del percorso Giappone del corso "Lingue dell'Asia e dell'Africa per la comunicazione e la cooperazione internazionale" e rappresenta un modulo dell’intero corso “Lingua e letteratura giapponese” da 12 CFU.
I suoi obiettivi formativi rientrano nell'area di apprendimento delle competenze linguistiche.
Obiettivi formativi del corso sono: fornire conoscenze grammaticali di livello intermedio superiore della lingua giapponese; fornire abilità di livello intermedio superiore per la lettura, scrittura e produzione orale della lingua giapponese; fornire conoscenze e competenze per l'analisi metalinguistica della lingua giapponese e per la traduzione dal giapponese all'italiano.
Il livello che gli studenti dovrebbero idealmente raggiungere alla fine del corso dovrebbe attestarsi intorno a un livello B2+ del CEFR (corrispondente circa al livello N2 del Japanese Language Proficiency Test).The course of LINGUA GIAPPONESE falls among the characterizing teachings of the first and second year of the Japanese course of the course "Languages of Asia and Africa for communication and international cooperation” and represents a module of the entire "Japanese Language and Literature" course of 12 CREDITS.
Its educational objectives fall within the area of language skills. The educational objectives of the course are: to provide grammatical knowledge of the upper-intermediate level of the Japanese language; provide superior intermediate level skills for reading, writing, and oral production of the Japanese language; provide knowledge and skills for the metalinguistic analysis of the Japanese language and for translation from Japanese to Italian. The level that students should reach at the end of the course should be around a B2+ level of the CEFR (corresponding about to the N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test).

Modalità di insegnamento
Il modulo di "Lingua Giapponese” e il relativo lettorato si articolano su tre emisemestri (a partire da metà primo semestre e tutto il secondo).
Lingua giapponese (prof. Moro): Lezioni (tre ore a settimana) a carattere fortemente seminariale della durata di 36 ore complessive (12 CFU insieme al modulo di letteratura).
Lettorati di lingua giapponese (lettrice/lettore madrelingua): Esercitazioni basate sulla continua interazione in classe della durata di 72 ore complessive (4 ore a settimana).
Informazioni su orari e programmi del lettorato saranno fornite a settembre sull'apposita pagina moodle.
La frequenza (possibile solo in aula) è vivamente consigliata per favorire la migliore interazione con le docenti e la classe e per il corretto apprrendimento della lingua.
Si raccomanda di consultare spesso gli avvisi della pagina moodle dell'insegnamento e del lettorato per eventuali variazioni e aggiornamenti. Gli annunci a tutte le studentesse e a tutti gli studenti arriveranno dal moodle alla vostra email @edu.unito.it, pertanto si raccomanda di controllarla giornalmente o inserire l'account gmail sul cellulare, in modo da non perdere importanti annunci.The module of "Japanese language" and its lettorato is divided into three emisemestri (half of the first semester and second).
Japanese language course (Prof. Moro): Workshops with a strong interaction in the classroom lasting a total of 36 hours (12 CREDITS together with literature module).
Japanese Lettorati (lettore/native speaker): Exercises based on continuous classroom interaction lasting a total of 72 hours (4 hours per week per group). Classroom attendance is strongly recommended to allow students face to face interaction with the teacher and the other students. Live streaming broadcasts of lessons and classroom activities will be offered. Audio-video recordings of the lessons will not be provided.
It is recommended to consult often the warnings of the moodle page of the teaching and the lettorato for any change and updates. Ads to all students will come from moodle to your @edu.unito.it email, so it is recommended to check it daily or add your gmail account on your mobile phone, so you don't miss important updates.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
L’esame (come prima STU0466 o seconda STU0467 annualità) viene verbalizzato dalla docente (prof. Moro) alla fine dell’esame ORALE conclusivo (A QUESTO ESAME CI SI DEVE ISCRIVERE DALLA PAGINA APPOSITA sul sistema Myunito/Esse3), solo dopo aver concluso le 4 parti di esonero.
I materiali da studiare per ogni prova saranno spiegati in dettaglio nei rispettivi moodle a tempo debito.
Prove di esonero: Ci sono 3 prove scritte dell’esonero di lettorato (esercizi di grammatica, vocabolario e comprensione del testo) e una prova orale di esonero (domande), A CUI BISOGNA ISCRIVERSI TRAMITE la pagina MOODLE del lettorato. Gli esoneri seguiranno questo calendario:
Prima parte dell’esonero scritto (gennaio/febbr. 2023)
Seconda parte dell’esonero scritto (aprile 2023)
Terza parte dell’esonero scritto (giugno 2023)
Esonero orale (giugno 2023)
Nel caso non si passi la prima o la seconda parte di esonero (o nel caso si voglia RIFIUTARNE il VOTO entro 3 gg. dalla comunicazione del voto), si può recuperare il giorno del terzo esonero, negli orari predisposti.
Ci saranno SOLO altri due appelli per recuperare gli esoneri scritti (recupero del 1° e 2° esonero a giugno 2023, recuperi 1°, 2° e 3° a settembre 2023, recupero 3° esonero a novembre 2023, recuperi 1°, 2°, 3° a febbraio 2024).
Parte orale dell’esonero: La prova di esonero orale verrà effettuata in giugno e gli studenti potranno iscrivervisi tramite moodle. Consisterà in domande legate agli argomenti fatti in classe.
I due recuperi dell'esonero orale saranno a settembre e febbraio e coincideranno con i primi appelli del corso (Prof.Moro), ma bisognerà iscrivervisi sempre tramite moodle.
LE 4 PROVE DI ESONERO (3 SCRITTE E 1 ORALE) SI POSSONO SOSTENERE IN ORDINE SPARSO, NESSUNA È PROPEDEUTICA ALL’ALTRA, anche se si consiglia caldamente di dare le prove scritte in ordine cronologico. Anche l’esame intermedio di “Letteratura giapponese” non è propedeutico agli esoneri o all’orale conclusivo di lingua. È caldamente consigliato dare ogni parte al primo appello disponibile subito dopo il corso relativo per ottenere i maggiori risultati dal corso.
L'esame conclusivo consta di una verifica orale della capacità di leggere e di rispondere a domande in giapponese sui tesi affrontati in classe, nonché della capacità dell* student* di tradurre tali testi in italiano e di parlare delle strutture grammaticali e frastiche che li compongono.
I voti delle prove intermedie faranno media tra di loro. Di tale media si terrà in considerazione per decidere il voto dell’esame conclusivo.
Il voto degli esoneri è valido fino ad Aprile 2024. Bisogna quindi completare tutte e 4 le parti entro febbraio 2024 per accedere alla prova conclusiva relativa a questo anno accademico (le prove conclusive sono 8 in tutto e finiscono ad aprile 2024, mentre ci sono SOLO tre possibilità in tutto per sostenere le prove di esonero e finiscono a febbraio 2024).
Esiste però il salto d'appello per l’orale conclusivo, per cui non si può sostenere nella stessa sessione la stessa parte di esame se non è stata superata la prima volta. Si può però rifiutare il voto se sufficiente e presentarsi all'appello successivo.
IL VOTO DI LINGUA CONCLUSIVO E QUELLO DI LETTERATURA FANNO MEDIA.
The Japanese Language first year exam is registered by the teacher (Prof. Moro) at the end of the final ORAL exam (AT THIS EXAM YOU MUST REGISTER FROM THE APPROPRIATE PAGE ON the Myunito/Esse3 system), only after having completed all the parts of intermediate “esoneri”.
The materials to be studied for each test will be explained in detail in the respective moodles.
Intermediate esoneri tests:
There are 3 written tests of the esoneri (grammar exercises, vocabulary and written comprehension) and an oral exam of esonero (questions), TO WHICH YOU MUST REGISTER THROUGH the MOODLE page of the reader. The esoneri will follow this calendar:
First part of the written esonero (January 2023)
Second part of the written esonero (April 2023)
Third part of the written esonero (June 2023)
Oral esonero (June 2023)
If you do not pass the first or second part of the esonero (or if you want TO REFUSE THE VOTE within 3 days from the communication of the vote), you can take the first and second esonero again the day of the third esonero.
There will ONLY be two more chances to give the written esoneri (1st and 2nd esonero in June, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in September, 3rd esonero in November, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in February).
Oral part of the esonero: The oral test will be carried out at the end of the course (in April.. It will consist of questions on the topics faced in class. The two other chances to give of the oral esonero will be in September and February and will coincide with the first oral final exams of the course (Prof. Moro), but it will always be necessary to enroll in it through moodle. THE 4 Esoneri TESTS (3 WRITTEN AND 1 ORAL) CAN BE TAKEN IN EVERY ORDER, NONE IS PREPARATORY TO THE OTHER, although it is strongly recommended to give the written tests in chronological order. The "Japanese Literature " exam is also not preparatory to the esoneri, but must be taken before the language oral final exam. Anyways, It is strongly recommended to give each part to the first chance available immediately after the relative course to get the most results from the course.
The final exam consists of an oral verification of the ability to read and answer to questions in Japanese on the texts addressed in class, as well as the ability of the student to translate these texts into Italian and to talk in Italian about the grammatical and phrase structures that make them up.
The grades of the intermediate tests will average between them. This average will be taken into account in deciding the vote of the final exam. The exam of "Japanese Literature" and the esoneri have an annual deadline. It is therefore necessary to complete all 4 parts by February to access the final test related to that year (the final tests are 8 in all, as well as the intermediate exams of Japanese Literature and they end in April, while there are ONLY three possibilities in all to take the esoneri tests and they end in February).
You cannot take the same part of the oral final exam at the same session unless you have passed the first time. However, a vote may be refused if sufficient and the next exam in the same session may be taken.

Programma
Approfondimento di ulteriori registri della lingua parlata e scritta. Introduzione alle problematiche della comprensione del testo e lettura veloce. Lo studente e la studentessa dovranno essere in grado di conversare su argomenti generali e specifici partendo dai testi fatti in classe.
L'insegnamento della docente italiana si sviluppa principalmente intorno alla lettura in classe in lingua giapponese del libro di testo e alla comprensione del testo letto tramite domande e risposte, nonché alle esercitazioni per superare il livello N 2 del Japanese Proficiency Test (JLPT). Particolare attenzione sarà data alla comprensione della struttura frastica del giapponese.
Le esercitazioni del* docente madrelingua (lettorati) si sviluppano intorno alla lettura di testi e all'esercizio dell'uso di strutture tipiche del giapponese scritto e parlato di livello N2 del JLPT (esercitazione mirata alla produzione orale e scritta).
I MATERIALI di riferimento per ogni parte di esame verranno spiegati in dettaglio nel moodle per tempo.
In-depth analysis of further registers of the spoken and written language. Introduction to the issues of text comprehension and fast reading. The student must be able to converse on general and specific topics. The Teaching of the Italian teacher develops mainly around the classroom reading in Japanese of the textbook and the understanding of the text read, as well as the exercises to pass the N 2 level of the Japanese Proficiency Test (JLPT). Particular attention will be given to understanding the phrase structure of Japanese.
The lessons by the native language teacher (hereafter “lettorato”) develop around the reading of texts and the exercise of the use of structures typical of Japanese written and spoken at level N2 of the JLPT (exercise aimed at oral and written production).
The reference MATERIALS for each part of the exam will be explained in detail in the moodle in time.

Per apprendere una lingua da zero è necessario fare molto esercizio di ascolto e produzione orale. Pertanto si incoraggiano caldamente le studentesse e gli studenti a venire in aula e a intervenire il più possibile durante le esercitazioni di lettorato e gli esercizi durante il corso di lingua.
Gli esoneri e l’esame di “Letteratura giapponese” hanno scadenza annuale (fatta eccezione per alcuni casi di comprovati problemi di salute o familiari, a discrezione della docente). Bisogna quindi completare tutte le 4 le prove entro un anno per accedere alla prova conclusiva. Esiste però il salto d'appello, per cui non si può sostenere nella stessa sessione la stessa parte di esame orale di lingua conclusivo se non è stata superata la prima volta. Si può però rifiutare il voto SE SUFFICIENTE e presentarsi all'appello successivo.
Ai e alle non frequentanti non è richiesta nessuna lettura addizionale, ma dovranno studiare da soli le letture del manuale oltre che fare esercizio sugli eserciziari, nonché CONOSCERE MOLTO BENE IL CONTENUTO DELLE SLIDE offerte sul moodle.
Japanese language lessons and lettorati will start from the 10th november and will continue until the end of the year.
To learn a language from zero you need to do a lot of listening and oral production exercise.
